Todi
Todi is located inside the most authentic heart of Umbria, situated on the top of gentle hills, and therefore enjoys an elevated position and a priceless view. Todi is a village where the Roman, Etruscan and Medieval eras meet creating a unique combination. To see certainly the Piazza del Popolo, on which overlook the Palazzo del Popolo and the Cathedral of the Annunziata. The Palazzo del Popolo, in particular, turns out to be one of the oldest in Italy, created in Gothic-Lombard style. To enjoy a unique view of the valley you can climb the Bell Tower of San Fortunato and admire the beauty of the Tiber Valley.

Assisi
Assisi is the unmistakable Umbrian village that gave birth to the great San Francesco (St. Francis). The great sanctuary dedicated to the saint stands out, immersed and clear, in a raised position, making the view of the town immediately unmistakable. Assisi is one of the richest tourist and religious destinations in the Italian panorama. To see the great Basilica of San Francesco that, in addition to the remains of the saint, also contains masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue, the Basilica of Santa Chiara and the Cathedral of San Rufino. Or you can simply get lost in the streets of medieval style or visit the Rocca Maggiore, located just outside the walls of Assisi.
Perugia
Perugia is the capital of the Region of Umbria, and is a place where you can breathe art, culture and beauty. Known for Umbria Jazz and Eurochocolate, Perugia appears as an ancient fortified medieval village and is home to one of the oldest universities in Italy. Unmistakable symbol of Perugia is the Fontana Maggiore, designed by Pisano artists, consisting of two basins in pink and white stone. To see also the Cathedral of San Lorenzo and the very rich National Gallery that hosts a great artistic heritage, with masterpieces by Pietro della Francesca and Perugino. A suggestive moment you can spend inside the Etruscan Well, an ancient hydraulic work that can be visited by stopping on a glass corridor that falls into the void. And if you have a sweet tooth, take advantage of a visit to the Casa del Cioccolato!
Orvieto
The suburb of Orvieto appears, from far away, almost as suspended in the void, because situated on a tuff rock. The town is known for its Duomo, of Gothic imprint, and for the Pozzo di San Patrizio. To see also the Chapel of San Patrizio, a true masterpiece of Renaissance art. Orvieto also contains a hidden part, its underground city, a tunnels of caves and wells dug by the ancient inhabitants and can be visited thanks to a guided tour.
Gubbio
Gubbio is another of the pearls of Umbria, ancient feud of the Montefeltro and Della Rovere. The village is of medieval imprint and contains treasures that are worth discovering. One of these is the complex in which there is Piazza Grande, the Palazzo dei Consoli and the Palazzo del Pretorio. The Palazzo dei Consoli, in particular, has a truly unmistakable Gothic facade. Also the Palazzo Ducale, of medieval origin, but became Renaissance under Federico di Montefeltro, is worth a visit. If you love a little bit of thrill go up on the cable car that, from the center of Gubbio, leads up to Mount Ingino where there is the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo. A small cage for two people will take you straight to a panoramic and unique place!
Montefalco
Montefalco is part of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy and it is not by chance: it preserves many beauties that are worth seeing. Among these we recommend the medieval walls, interspersed with the city gates, the Church of Saint Augustine and the museum church of Saint Francis. One of the most beautiful things, however, is the view of the surrounding valley, rich in vineyards and soft slopes, which can be admired by going up to the top of Montefalco, home of the renowned Sagrantino wine.
